The faculty of Education and Media studies was established in 2001.
Since then it has introduced various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes which address varying needs of country and the region. These include Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Media Studies, Business Communication, Technical Education, Business Studies Education.
The masters degrees include an MA in Health and Behaviour Change Communication and a Master of Technical and Vocational Education. An MA in Journalism is under development and we should launch it before the end of the 2015/2016 academic year.
The Faculty is also home to the continuing education Centre and the Printing Unit.
