Survey of the 2014 Polytechnic Graduates and Employer Satisfaction

The Polytechnic is carrying out a World Bank Skills Development Project (SDP) to increase access to higher education. One of the requirements of the SDP is to conduct a tracer study for its 2014 graduates and an employer satisfaction survey. Therefore, the college kindly requests your participation.

Postponement of Opening of The Polytechnic

Council of the University of Malawi regrets to inform all new and continuing students at The Polytechnic that the opening of the College which was scheduled for 3rd October 2016 for new students and 10th October 2016 for continuing students, has been postponed to a date to be communicated later. This is due to the need for Council and the Polytechnic Students Union to resolve the tuition fees matter which is currently in court.

Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.

The University of Malawi invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to enroll into non-residential Diploma and Certificate programmes which are scheduled to commence in Blantyre at the Polytechnic campus in November 2016 and February 2017.

Each Diploma programme takes a minimum of three years to complete while the Certificate programme has a minimum duration of one year.
