PIC: Council members, after one of their meetings at MUBAS
It has pleased His Excellency, The President of Malawi Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera to approve the council’s recommendation that Associate Professor Nancy Chitera should serve as Acting Vice Chancellor with immediate effect until a substantive Vice Chancellor has been identified.
The appointments were made on the council’s first meeting which took place on August 17th, 2021.
The MUBAS council has also approved that Associate Professor Betchani Tchereni should serve as Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor of MUBAS.
Other appointments are; Acting University Registrar, Mr Ellius Chizimba, Acting Director of Finance and Investment; Mr Chikondi Jenala, Acting University Librarian, Dr Dorothy Eneya and Acting Director of Student Affairs, Dr Gertrude Sitolo Banda.
