About

The economics and law department is a new department in the School of Business and Applied Sciences. The department brings together experts in economics and in law and focuses on the commercial law, business economics and the interface between the two disciplines.

What we currently offer

The department currently has one Senate approved programme, the Bachelor of Laws (Commerce) honours. The department is also developing academic programmes in Economics at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Other Ventures

Besides carrying out research, the academic members of staff under the Department carry out various consultancies. Generally, most of them are also associated with various professional organisations.
